Framing

Framing is when the Game is explicitly stated or made clearer in some way, so that the performers and audience are clearer on what it is.

It can also be used to point out/ highlight the Shiny thing to another performer to make it clear what interesting thing you’re exploring, if you don’t have a fully formed game/ point of view yet.

In improv comedy anyone can do the framing, whether it’s someone in the scene or a supporting move (see Supporting Moves/ Edits)
