Comedian on stage holding a microphone alongside a big blue puppet

Modern Art, Kids TV

  • by Viki Jackson

Yabba dabba doo! Switch off Sesame Street, it's Modern Art time and we've gotta catch 'em all! That's right, this month's theme was Kids TV.

The night kicked off with Josh InVain giving some safety advice for kids - don't pretend to be a gas engineer! This was swiftly followed by our dog detective, Lilla Multipass who sniffed out a naughty boy. Jen Zheng was up next and showed us what AI really thinks of her. Then we had LJ DA Funk who put his GCSE Spanish to good use with his overview of Dora the Explorer.

Scott Oswald opened the second half with an excellent Phil Mitchel impression. Then we heard about the woes of Cindy in the form of Susan Harrison. Verity Sharpe read us some sweet poetry and French impressionism. We ended with Jonathan Oldfield who told us all about what it was like back in his day and gave us a little song.

The night was MC'd by Viki Jackson and we had a very special guest appearance from Tony, the foul mouthed puppet who severely regrets his time on Sesame Street.

Modern Art is a regular night in London. Follow Modern Art on Instagram to keep up to date and if you’d like to perform with us then head here and fill in the form.
