Mindful Workshop with two circles of people stood talking

Making Happy Mistakes

£27 - £33

When: Wed, 16th Jul • 7pm - 9:30pm

Other Dates:

We all make mistakes. But why do the little ones stick in our brains so much?

Our minds have a built-in negativity bias. It's designed to keep us safe, not happy. So when things go wrong, even just a little bit, it’s easy to spiral into overthinking or self-blame. This workshop is all about flipping that on its head.

We’ll explore how to celebrate mistakes and shift our thinking in a more positive, playful direction. Using fun drama and improvisation exercises, we’ll practise playful mindfulness - staying present, laughing through the wobbles, and gently building resilience for everyday life.

We’ll work together in pairs and groups, helping each other stay in the moment and see mistakes as chances to connect and grow. No experience with acting or comedy needed. This isn’t a performance class. It’s just a lovely space to explore how we react, reflect and reset.

This class is for you if you:

  • Find that small mistakes affect your mood more than you'd like

  • Want to practise positive thinking in a hands-on and playful way

  • Are curious about mindfulness but prefer movement and laughter to sitting still

  • Fancy doing something a bit different one evening and meeting lovely new people

Curious? You can read more about why making mistakes is actually brilliant in this blog post.
